Wyomissing waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victor by a 58-33 margin over the Oley Valley Lynx. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Amaya Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Her afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasey Maggs, who posted six points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Wyomissing pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points over those games. As for Oley Valley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Coming up, Wyomissing will challenge Reading at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wyomissing's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Reading's offense will have their work cut out for them. Oley Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
