Recap: Poly Parrots vs. Monroe Vikings
The Poly Parrots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Monroe on the road to the tune of 72-2. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Poly has managed all season.
Poly got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jhada Cordon out in front who scored ten points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jochelle Golez, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Poly is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Monroe, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poly will take on Arleta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arleta is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to challenge Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
