Recap: Grace Prep vs. Blair County Christian Bobcats
Grace Prep's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. The New Year welcomed they with a 42-10 whooping from Blair County Christian. Grace Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Blair County Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.
Blair County Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabi Dull, who scored 14 points along with three steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Dull has scored at least 25% of Blair County Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Hileman, who scored 12 points.
Grace Prep's defeat was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Blair County Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Grace Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Juniata Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Blair County Christian, they will be playing at home against Bedford County CIA at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
