Thoreau won the last time they faced Newcomb and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Skyhawks by a score of 3-1.
Thoreau walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 18-25, 25-21.
Thoreau got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailee Donald out in front who had 13 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillianne Brondo, who had 11 digs and one assist.
