Soccer Recap: Holy Trinity Takes a Loss

Holy Trinity managed to keep up with Cristo Rey Jesuit until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 8-0 to the Cristeros. Holy Trinity's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Holy Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Trinity will venture away from home to square off against Rochelle Zell Jewish at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they will square off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
