Basketball Recap: Exeter Township Comes Up Short

Exeter Township lost against Wilson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Exeter Township Eagles lost 59-39 to the Wilson Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 108th).

Exeter Township's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Exeter Township will welcome West York Area at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wilson, they will square off against Governor Mifflin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Wilson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
