Basketball Game Preview: Washington Eagles vs. Marshall Phoenix

The Washington Eagles will face off against the Marshall Phoenix on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a ten-game winning streak alive.

On February 5th, Washington got the win against Galileo by a conclusive 51-27. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Lions are ranked 1084th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Marshall had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Galileo with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-44.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
