Polytechnic is 10-0 against Providence since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Polytechnic Panthers will be playing at home against the Providence Pioneers at 3:30 p.m. Providence took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Polytechnic, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Polytechnic faced off against Westridge on Friday. Polytechnic blew past Westridge 4-1. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Providence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Mayfield. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 884th, while the Cubs are ranked 386th).

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Polytechnic took their victory against Providence in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 4-0. Will Polytechnic repeat their success, or does Providence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
