Softball Recap: Union Drops Season-High Score on South Tama County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the South Tama County Trojans on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

With the victory, Union broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-20. As for South Tama County, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-26.

Union has already played their next match (against Mt. Vernon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Tama County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-1 defeat against West Liberty on the 10th.
