Softball Recap: Burns Flat-Dill City Takes a Loss

Burns Flat-Dill City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Hammon Warriors. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Burns Flat-Dill City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hammon, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

Burns Flat-Dill City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammon, they will venture away from home to challenge Arnett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.26 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
