Basketball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Finds Playoff Glory Versus Keystone

With a playoff win on the line, Bellwood-Antis rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Keystone Panthers, posting a 55-27 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Bellwood-Antis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilly Gerwert, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Gerwert is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 15 games she's played. Isabella Sloey was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Isabella Brandon and Jerzey Bell certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Brandon almost dropped a double-double with nine boards and nine steals, while Bell posted six points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Patrick, who earned three points and eight boards.

Bellwood-Antis' victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Keystone, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9.
