Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short

Mt. Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Cedartown Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Mt. Zion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Cedartown are ranked 73rd).

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Cedartown, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Mt. Zion has already played their next match (against Bowdon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cedartown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Pepperell on the 3rd.
