Clear Lake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Lower Lake, who was ranked 21st at the time (Clear Lake was ranked 13th). The Cardinals blew past the Trojans 4-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Clear Lake, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.
