Baseball Recap: Truman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ruskin last Friday, Truman came back down to earth. The Patriots lost 8-1 to the Lee's Summit Tigers on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Truman's loss dropped their record down to 17-17. As for Lee's Summit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Truman nor Lee's Summit have any future games scheduled.
