Volleyball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

The Southridge Suns didn't have quite enough to beat the Cheney Blackhawks on Saturday and fell 1-0. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Southridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Cheney, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Southridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Kennewick on the 30th. As for Cheney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Shadle Park on the 27th.
