Basketball Recap: El Paso Tigers vs. Salpointe Catholic Lancers
El Paso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt an 81-22 defeat at the hands of the Salpointe Catholic Lancers.
Despite the loss, El Paso saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emma Guevara earned 15 points in addition to three steals.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the El Paso Tigers face off against the Franklin Cougars at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Franklin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Salpointe Catholic, they and Montwood will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
