Flag Football Game Preview: Hillsdale Fighting Knights vs. Gunn Titans

The Hillsdale Fighting Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Gunn Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsdale's defense has only allowed 9.1 points per game this season, so Gunn's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hillsdale's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Sequoia 28-0. The Fighting Knights haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Gunn played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 38-13 to Los Altos. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Eagles are ranked 51st).

Gunn's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hillsdale, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Hillsdale came up short against Gunn when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 6-2. Can the Fighting Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
