Softball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Jackson on Monday, Commerce came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 13-6 to the Jackson County Panthers on Wednesday.

Commerce now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jackson County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Commerce will challenge Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson County, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Dacula at 6:30 p.m. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
