Volleyball Recap: Alcovy Comes Up Short

Alcovy lost against Eastside back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Alcovy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eastside, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-15.

Alcovy and Eastside could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 450th) will meet Habersham Central (ranked 65th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastside will face off against North Oconee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (348 vs. 37).
