Football Recap: Gray-New Gloucester Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Gray-New Gloucester was riding high fresh off their 40-12 takedown of Sacopee Valley last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots were dealt a 40-12 defeat at the hands of the Mt. Ararat Eagles on Friday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jax Connick, who threw for 183 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gray-New Gloucester fell to 2-1. As for Mt. Ararat, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Gray-New Gloucester will host Spruce Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Phoenix have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Mt. Ararat, they will head out to take on Mount Desert Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
