It's playoff time, and Wayne County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Flowery Branch Falcons on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Wayne County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Flowery Branch, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 19-12 record.

Wayne County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
