Softball Recap: California Comes Up Short

California lost against Carrollton back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pintos fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 4-3.

California's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carrollton, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, California will head out to square off against Russellville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Pintos' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Carrollton, they will welcome Salisbury at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
