Baseball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem lost against Hephzibah back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seminoles took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Hephzibah, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-16 record.

Coming up, Salem will be playing at home against Pebblebrook at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. The Seminoles are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Hephzibah, they will head out to take on Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.92 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of.
