Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale lost against Fowler back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Riverdale Cowboys took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fowler Redcats. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Riverdale lost, don't look at Karen Ayala. Despite the final result, she posted ten points.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Fowler, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-18.

Riverdale will head out to challenge Strathmore at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Strathmore's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Riverdale's offense will have their work cut out for them. Fowler has already played their next match (against Kingsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
