Soccer Recap: Borrego Springs Comes Up Short

Borrego Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Coastal Academy Stingrays an easy 12-0 win. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Friday.

Borrego Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Coastal Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Borrego Springs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against West Shores on the 20th. Coastal Academy has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Preuss UCSD on the 19th.
