Baseball Recap: Pine City Find Success

The Pine City Dragons earned a 5-2 victory over the Blackduck Drakes on Friday.

Pine City's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Blackduck, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Pine City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-7 victory against International Falls on the 16th. As for Blackduck, they will take on Deer River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Drakes are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
