Softball Recap: Valor Christian Beats Bear Creek for Their Fourth Straight Win

Valor Christian entered their tilt with Bear Creek on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 14-6. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Elizabeth Canales was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Valor Christian got a massive performance out of Kendall Ferguson, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and one double while going 5-for-5. What's more, Ferguson posted two runs, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karis Flannery, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

Valor Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Bear Creek, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
