Baseball Recap: Westside Patriots vs. Laney Wildcats
Westside can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They never let the Laney Wildcats onto the board and left with a 14-0 win. With that victory, Westside brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Mason Roundtree was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Williamson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
The win was the third in a row for Westside, bringing their record for this year to 7-9. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 11.3 runs. As for Laney, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
