Softball Recap: Stratford Academy Triumphs

Stratford Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers by a score of 9-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Craddock, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hatsy Russell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Stratford Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Stratford Academy has already played their next match, an 8-0 defeat against Strong Rock Christian on the 26th. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 loss against First Presbyterian Day on the 25th.
