Kuemper and Lewis Central are an even 5-5 against one another since July of 2019, but likely not for long. The Knights will be playing at home against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Kuemper: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Lewis Central has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road.

Another player making a difference was Madison Johnette, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Lewis Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. The last time their OBP was this high was in their last ten matchups.

Lewis Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kuemper, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
