It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sutter can now relate to. The contest between them and the Ripon Indians didn't end well, with the Sutter Huskies falling 47-32.

When it comes to explaining why Sutter lost on Tuesday, don't look at Torrence Harter. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 16 rebounds, and nine blocks. Harter has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 58 times she's played.

Ripon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leila Sanchez, who posted 11 points and three steals. That's the most points Sanchez has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Lehmkuhl, who earned nine points and three steals.

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Ripon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Sutter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ripon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-36 defeat against Liberty Ranch on the 20th.
