Football Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Hampton was the 34-27 winner over Chartiers Valley when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Talbots fell 22-13 to the Colts on Friday. The Talbots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Hampton took the loss, they still got scores from Brody Junker and Willy Haselrig.

Hampton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chartiers Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will face off against McKeesport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Talbots their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Chartiers Valley, they will take on Laurel Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.4 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
