Baseball Recap: Hamilton Heights Takes a Loss

Hamilton Heights made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kokomo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Huskies fell just short of the Wildkats by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Wildkats: they've now lost four in a row.

Hamilton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Kokomo, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.

The Golden Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kokomo, they will venture away from home to challenge Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildkats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
