Softball Recap: Rampart Comes Up Short

Rampart fell victim to Grand Junction and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Rampart has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Grand Junction, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Rampart has already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Palisade on the 26th. As for Grand Junction, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 win against Niwot on the 26th.
