Softball Recap: Jefferson Yellowjackets vs. Le Mars Bulldogs
Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Le Mars Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in May.
Carley Steinspring spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and six unearned) runs on six hits.
On the hitting side, Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Perrine, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
