Basketball Recap: Washington Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame, Washington was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They escaped with a win against the Terra Nova Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 30-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Terra Nova, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will head out to take on The Academy - San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for Terra Nova, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
