Riverwood entered their tilt with Milton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Riverwood Raiders who were credited with the victory. The Riverwood Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Milton Eagles' three. The win was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Eagles are ranked 14th).

The victory got Riverwood back to even at 4-4. As for Milton, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverwood will square off against Pope at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverwood's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Milton, they will face off against Roswell at 8:00 p.m. on March 11th.
