Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for West Mesa

West Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rio Grande Ravens, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, West Mesa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico soccer rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Rio Grande are ranked fifth).

West Mesa has now lost three of their last four games on the road. That's taken a bite out of their 4-12-3 record this season. As for Rio Grande, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4-2.

As of now, neither West Mesa nor Rio Grande have any future games scheduled.
