Soccer Recap: Fountain Valley Comes Up Short

Fountain Valley fought the good fight in their overtime game against Corona del Mar on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Corona del Mar Sea Kings by a score of 4-3. The Barons haven't had much luck with the Sea Kings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Fountain Valley hit Corona del Mar with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brynn Orgill, Jaelene Felix, and Katelyn Leach.

Fountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-3. As for Corona del Mar, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Fountain Valley nor Corona del Mar have any future games scheduled.
