Baseball Recap: Bunker Hill Takes a Loss

Bunker Hill couldn't beat Metro-East Lutheran on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Minutemen came up short against the Knights, falling 19-6. The loss continues a trend for the Minutemen in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Brennan Fulton and Nick Chapman did some serious damage despite the final result: Fulton went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Chapman went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bunker Hill's record is now 3-15-1. As for Metro-East Lutheran, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.

As of now, neither Bunker Hill nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
