Basketball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover lost against Burbank back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hoover Tornados fell to the Burbank Bulldogs 40-36. The Tornados just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Burbank, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.

Hoover is taking a road trip to square off against Glendale at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoover is facing Glendale at the right time seeing as Glendale is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Burbank, they will welcome Burroughs at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Burbank is on a three-game streak of home wins, Burroughs a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
