Softball Recap: Clarkston Comes Up Short

Clarkston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to the Southwest DeKalb Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in August.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Southwest DeKalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Clarkston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will be playing at home against St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
