Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Bulldogs vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs

Last Monday, Wilson took their match with ease, bagging a 63-19 victory over Schuylkill Valley. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Governor Mifflin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against Twin Valley by a score of 54-45 on Saturday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Wilson's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. As for Governor Mifflin, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Wilson couldn't quite finish off Governor Mifflin when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 47-45. Can Wilson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
