Football Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart lost against Plainville back in October of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a blow against the Cardinals, falling 51-7.

Maddox Wells threw for 115 yards and one touchdown. Noah Hines was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Elias Gordon rushed for 56 yards.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plainville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart will challenge Pleasanton at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Plainville, they will face off against Russell on Friday.
