Basketball Recap: Eagle Rock's Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Bravo last Wednesday, Eagle Rock came back down to earth. The Eagle Rock Eagles fell 50-43 to the Franklin Panthers on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Eagles have let down their home crowd.

Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Medina, who posted 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Toni Vizcaino, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Eagle Rock's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5. As for Franklin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Eagle Rock will venture away from home to face off against Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-43 defeat against Cleveland on the 25th.
