Soccer Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville lost against Las Plumas back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oroville Tigers lost 4-0 to the Las Plumas Thunderbirds. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1167th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 569th).

Oroville dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Las Plumas, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Oroville has already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Live Oak on the 11th. As for Las Plumas, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Corning on the 11th.
