Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Chargers vs. Nebraska Christian Eagles

The Riverside Chargers will take on the Nebraska Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Riverside beat Newman Grove/St. Edward 46-38.

Grace Mahony was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (seven). Tessa Weltruski was another key player, putting up ten points along with five steals and three blocks.

Riverside was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Nebraska Christian strolled past Shelby-Rising City with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 48-33.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Nebraska Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
