Softball Recap: Linn Wins Going Away Against Sullivan

Linn had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Sullivan Eagles with a sharp 10-2 victory. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Ava Warren was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzy Hackmann, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs and one stolen base.

Linn has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Logan-Rogersville on the 29th. As for Sullivan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Helias on the 3rd.
