Basketball Recap: Westinghouse Has No Trouble Against Nazareth Prep

Westinghouse's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Nazareth Prep Saints 36-16. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since December 12, 2023.

The win got Westinghouse back to even at 1-1. As for Nazareth Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Westinghouse and Propel Braddock Hills will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Propel Braddock Hills' defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Westinghouse's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Nazareth Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 16, 2025.
