Soccer Recap: Larkin Comes Up Short

The Larkin Royals came up short against the Huntley Red Raiders on Saturday and fell 4-2. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Keven Cuevas was handed one for Larkin, while Huntley got theirs courtesy of Tyler Murray.

Larkin's loss dropped their record down to 3-1-2. As for Huntley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-2.

Larkin and Huntley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Royals are set to take on their familiar foe Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huntley will square off against rival Dundee-Crown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
